A case report of seventeen-years-old girl with clinical and laboratory manifestation of repeated attacks of pancreatitis is documented. She suffered from twinges of pain in spite of the fact that she was on treatment and she kept dietary regime carefully. Clinical finding after admission covered wide dif­ ferential diagnosis including inflammatory bowel disease and celiac syndrome. Persistent hypercalcaemia and increased concentration of parathormo­ ne made us to perform parathyroid scintigraphy which revealed adenoma of right low parathyroid gland. Gluten sensitive enteropathy also known as coeliac sprue (CS) is an inflammatory disease of the small intestine, mainly jejunum, caused by intolerance of gliadin, a gluten protein, in genetically predisposed individuals. The first manifestation of CS is rare in the adults, more affected are women. The late onset manifestation is often overlooked due to incomplete clinical manifestations or misinterpretation to a different disease. With prolonged survival of cystic fibrosis patients, new problems emerged, such as their bone health. Osteoporosis and its complications may increase their morbidity and mortality and negatively influence their life quality. There is a complex of negative contributing factors, especially unfavourable nutritional status, vitamin deficiencies, inflammation, low physical activity, cystic fibrosis related diabetes mellitus, liver disease, hypogonadism and systemic corticosteroids in late stages.
